Tier One Introductory Training
Perfect for the returning or first-time adopter: We invite all new and returning teams to attend an Adopt-a-Beach™ training. We will review Adopt-a-Beach™ data collection forms and protocol, discuss any recent changes and answer questions.
Tier Two Advanced Training
Includes information on important quality control measures that ensure data is reliable and can be used by beach health officials. Introductory training is required as prerequisite to advanced training. See program requirements for more info on becoming Tier Two certified.
How to Register
For web-based trainings: Click on a calendar date below and register. If you have troubles registering, email Nate Drag at ndrag@greatlakes.org
For in-person trainings: Click on the calendar date below and RSVP to the contact listed for the training.
Don't see a training date on the calendar? That means no trainings are scheduled this month. Please select another month to find trainings that are scheduled.
If you're not already a registered team leader, go to www.greatlakesadopt.org and create an account. Questions about the program? Contact your state coordinator.
Once registered, you will receive a reminder email. Save this email for accessing the training on the training date, or choose to add the training to your calendar. If you have troubles registering, email Todd at ndrag@greatlakes.org
