Illinois Adopt-a-Beach™ Events: • August 14, Sierra Club Chicago at Montrose Beach in Chicago. Click here to request information about this event. • August 21, Alliance for the Great Lakes and Barefoot Wines at North Avenue Beach in Chicago. Barefoot Wine host a celebration at Castaways (on site) following the cleanup. There will be a celebration for the volunteers following the cleanup at CJ's (Captain Jack's) on the Beach (on site) with wine and snacks courtesy of Barefoot Wine and CJ's on the Beach.
