The Alliance is pleased to announce the launch of the new Adopt-a-Beach™ online data entry system. Below are step-by-step instructions for how to access the database and enter results from your Adopt-a-Beach™ visits. We ask that, from this point forward, you enter your results online as opposed to mailing the completed forms to our offices. Please continue to mail your completed volunteer sign in sheets to our offices. We truly appreciate your patience during the last several months as we've moved toward a system we hope will be more user-friendly for you and your team! Database instructions Step 1: Personal Profile Pages To activate your account visit your personal profile page after you log into the online database. In your personal profile: · Review your contact and team information. Make changes to any incorrect information. · Complete all fields marked with an (*). · Save your changes. · You will only have to visit your personal profile pages the first time you access the database. Step 2: Enter Your Adopt-a-Beach™ Visit Results To enter your visit results simply select the Adopt-a-Beach™ form (Litter Monitoring Form or Routine Visit Form) you are completing. Once in the appropriate form you will have to select the state, county and beach name for your group. Be sure to SAVE your data after you have entered all your information. To access the online database Click here User name: Your email address. Password: adopt (You may change the password once you are in the system.) If you experience problems With the launch of the new online data entry system we anticipate that there may be some questions and problems that arise when entering your results online.
