Great Lakes in My World Curriculums

Our Great Lakes in My World curriculums were developed in accordance with our philosophy that they:
    * Instill a sense of place
    * Provide a positive focus and be inquiry-based
    * Promote problem-solving and learning for understanding
    * Offer service learning

Great Lakes in My World K-8 offers 80 indoor and outdoor activities -- covering lakes, sand dunes, wetlands, human communities, history and geology. Each unit includes up to 17 activities. The curriculum meets Common Core State Standards and state learning standards and benchmarks in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
